I'll live
The news from the doctor yesterday was good. I did not get bitten by a tick, which I didn’t think was the case but I wanted to make sure because early detection is vital with Lyme disease. The diagnosis was that I was bitten by a non-poisonous spider. The nurse practitioner that examined me thought that while I was sleeping I probably rolled over onto a spider sitting quietly on my pillow. The spider’s natural instinct was to bite me. There is no infection and the bump on my head will subside in a few days, but if the swelling doesn’t go down or it starts itching I am to go back for another exam.
