Every once in a while when I'm bored and work is going really slowly, I'll get on USA Today's Daily Haiku and submit a poem. They give topics on which to write, which is good for me because I'm sort of lacking on original ideas. I don't think I'm destined to become a great poet by any means, but I've won a couple of books from earlier haikus I've written.

Learning a bit more on how to modify my blog page today as well. I discovered how to add text to the footer - check out my quote on the bottom of the page. Now if I can just figure out how to add my favorite links to the sidebar I should be set!
